DMK Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Party Chief.  Must be a self starter, highly motivated and ready to hit the ground running.  Candidate must have working knowledge utilizing GPS base rover, total station, TDS and Carlson software data collection software and equipment experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility and as- built recovery and construction stakeout
  • Assist survey technicians with production of mapping products and computations

  • Other duties as assigned related to field data
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience
  • Ability to operate Total Stations and fluent in GPS, static RTK and RTN collection protocols
  • Familiarity with Carlson SurvCE and TDS software a plus
  • Sufficient knowledge to handle most survey related task in the field to include the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout
  • Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats
  • Experience in recovery of boundary evidence in the field
  • Ability to collect as-builts and topography data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop mapping products
  • Ability to work remotely for long periods required and under rigorous conditions
  • Utility locating experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be reliable

  • Must understand the importance of the deliverable and have a track record of ownership with regard to all projects and assignments and be a team player
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license in order to operate a company vehicle
